Syndey Day 2 : Dinner @ Pancakes on the rocks !

No comments:

After all the touristy things to do for the day ,we decided to shop around the harbourside before we met our host family for dinner at one of the popular restaurants in Sydney, Pancakes on the rocks.

Also joined in a while with the locals watching the AFL football .

My tumblr worthy picture of my legs.

Queued for more than 30 mins before we could get our seats !

Chocolate milkshake.
THE WHIP CREAM WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.
Caesar salad
The devil's delight.
Chocolate pancake with chocolate ice cream & strawberry. & Also some cream.
CAN DIE FOR THIS WTF.
Farmers Brunch, a savoury crepe dish.
Not fantastic or should I say that it wasn't my thing.
Beef ribs.
I cannot eat beef but my kakis say it was ridiculous good.
Fish & chips.
Pork Ribs.

I think it is all over the internet saying that it is one of the good places for food in Sydney.
We tried it and I think it is really worth the try if you are there.
The place is very packed during dinner time and I don't think they take reservations, so you have to be early there to queue.

320 Below !

Just when I still have not finish complaining about my regrets of not trying out a nitrogen made ice cream store in Australia, there comes the concept store entering into the Singapore market !

No worries , it's really safe to consume. What they did is they insert liquid nitrogen into the liquid ice cream mixture, where the liquid nitrogen would freeze up the ice cream and then serve to the customer. I really like it because each cup of ice cream is individually made and freshly made.

I was so excited when I found out ( thanks Yvonne & Clarence for sharing ) , I text so many many people and ask if they wanna try. ONLY WEIJIAN WANNA GO WITH ME. Fml

Bro making me real jealous about his chrome hearts tee!

So you pick your flavor,  make payment , and they start making. When i was in Sydney, the ice cream shop staff were wearing laboratory robes ( is that what you call them? ), looking all like scientists. While in Singapore, the staff were wearing their shop tee. Still cool !

The shop is really colorful and I believe very fun themed. Even their ice cream makers are of different colors !

I believe this is the nitrogen gas !

The texture was really smooth ,  I had dark chocolate ice cream ( $4.90) while Wei Jian had peanut butter with oreo bits. I think this place is my next favourite ice cream place.

The shop is located at : 33 Mackenzie Road
Directions : Little India MRT exit A.

Hope you start craving for ice cream now.
K. Bye !

One step closer to be your favourite road hazard.

Anyway , we were at Hougang then and we tried out this red fluffy place we walked past the other time!
Quite amazing to be able to find such a place in a heartland area.
Just thought the concept was cute !

The drinks are rather standard priced , taste about each a cup standard.
 Drink the nose dirt wtf
Lens crack :{
 Egg waffles.

It's so fluffy I'm gonna die.

Loyalty Card program by them but I think we threw away

If you ask if I will hang out there, my answer is ....
I doubt so .
That place is quite filled up with YPs.

There's more info about the place if you are interested!

Time to scoopz some ice cream.

No comments:
Time for icecream again !
The year 3s in school were selling Scoopz vouchers and I just got it from Adeline's friend.
So I got Weijian to have the ice cream with me, ST had enlist so. ohhhhhhh~

What we were entittled were :
- one classic waffle set
-2 scoops ice cream
- $1x 5 vouchers.

The fickle-minded me always have problems with choosing ice cream flavours and I'm glad that the staff were patient enough with me.
We tried almost ALL favours and still take 10 mins to choose WTF>
I mean like HEY ! They are all fantastic k.

In the end we decided on the two favours, Mango Sorbet and Chocolate Crumble.

Mango Sorbet $2.90

Waffle with Chococolate Crumble ice cream
I'm sorry it was covered in the voucher so I didn't take note how much it cost.
CHOCOLATE CRUMBLE ICECREAM IS AWESOME.

And if you are wondering why there's a scoop of ice cream on top of our waffle.
The reason is because I didn't want to have 2 scoops of ice cream on top (melts easily imo)
And I wanted one scoop there because it will look nicer on the picture. #madesense

Yay to the staff that accepted my request and maybe cursing me inside.

Fcking act cute.
We just nua-ed there for an hour more, and I was craving for more ice cream.
But I didn't just want to have ice cream .
I saw some thing called the Freezeball and I went for it.
Freezeball $3.90
Freezeball- filled with favoured ice, topped with caramel hantien , this yogurt ball that will "explode" in your mouth and a scoop of ice cream of your choice.
I opted for Mango Sorbet again wtf.
This favoured ice thingy is ridiculous
It taste ridiculous , smell ridiciulous, but you will just continue eating it.

Ice Lychee Earl Grey Tea $3.90
Overly sweet for the 2 of us. Maybe you will like it if you have a sweet tooth.

Meet yourapplepie yo

That's all folks !
