Guide to enjoy an off day.

Hi guys !
Just in case you miss me and wonder what I've been busy with....
This have been my fourth week as an intern in a luxury fashion boutique , 6 more weeks to go !
I work from either 10.15 AM -8PM or 11.45AM -9PM and each month I am supposed to have 6 off days.
Quite a bit of my classmates were scattered along the Orchard Road so we do visiting quite a bit :]
On my recent off day, I'm glad I manage to catch up with my friends.

HAVE TO AGREE, SECONDARY SCHOOL FRIENDS ARE THE BEST.
Actually.... this is not a guide. I couldn't find a better tittle. ／（。◇。）＼ 逆立ち反省〜

K session with Fenny !

No pictures cause we took videos for personal entertainment ( HAHAHAHA) & we were too engrossed singing !
My first visit to KBOX Cineleisure, I think we are going there for future K sessions unless we find a better place.

& Shabu Shabu dinner @ Suki-ya.

 This is how it works, there are 3 soup bases.
We chose kimchi and sukiyaki bases and we gets the yong tau foo look alike ingredients and sauces in the buffet area. 

Meat choices - Chicken , Pork & Beef.
There's the good thing, IT IS FREE FLOW!
In order to keep it fresh, the shabu shabu meat are served upon request.
No beef for me so the rest had to suffer.
Well, at least we all wouldn't go to hell .(人●´ω｀●)

I think we ate too much glass noodles we got super full in a while!

Mayim for DimSum !

I had horrible cravings for xiaolongbao for the past one week before this but I didn't want to have din tai feng because I think that their xiao long bao isn't nice.
Therefore le awesome ST googled and all , & brought me to Mayim @northpoint for brunch! 
Mayim restaurant offers Chinese cuisine and currently have 2 branches in Singapore.

Dim sum ST ordered !  I just eat only.

For drinks, I had " Sou Mei" tea with wolf berry fruits while ST had "Pu Erh" tea with chrysanthemum.
And of course free hot water refill.

Honestly except for xiao long bao and chao siao bao and egg tarts I don't know what I had.
The dim sum at the bottom left was horrible , it has meat and mushroom in it and it tastes like shit.
The xiaolongbao isn't fantastic as well, I like (Geylang)YongHe's xiaolongbao best.

Durian Egg tarts which is yummy but caused a mess.

I guess it's a must try for all. The bill came up to about $30++ for two.

cold sores, I hate you

Le sigh. I'm infected with cold sores.

WAI LIDAT ?

Well, my upper lips started to have small little blisters (just one or two) about 2weeks ago. Then , it worsen. The blisters started to grow on my lower lips as well. And it #levelup two days ago when I found out that there's clear fluid coming out from the small blisters. Probably because I had to keep putting lip balm on during work and my lip balm got contaminated.

Today, I couldn't even smile. It hurts so badly and my lips were super duper dry. The small blisters were painful and itchy . (ノдヽ)

I went to the unity pharmacy after dinner and consulted the pharmacist. He told me I had cold sores and gave me some cream (yes yes I paid for it). He also mention that they are contagious (i knew it) and caused by fever,flu related diseases and stress. I never knew about cold sores .

What actually is cold sores?

According to emedicinehealth.com , Cold sores are small, painful, fluid-filled blistersor sores that appear on the lips, mouth, or nose that are caused by a virus. The sores can be painful and usually last a few days. (Mine lasts more than a week !) The cold sore virus is not completelyeliminated by thebodydefenses.

Even with the cream on my lips , they are still hurting. It feels like your lips are tearing. In fact I think it IS tearing.
