Tricks or treats, are you prepared for Halloween 2012?
Halloween is not widely celebrated in Singapore but there's always Halloween events going around in some of the tourists' attraction. I was invited to the media preview of FrightFest @ Singapore Flyer so here's my experience !
All of the bloggers & our plus ones gathered in the Greek Theatre getting briefed for what we will expect.
My Halloween date for the day : Adeline !
We started our experience when a ride in the Singapore flyer where we have to solve a maths equation.
Genius shuqing got it solved ! yayyyyyyyyyy.
Nah we didn't help , we just camwhore !
I've been on the flyer for many times, but this is my first time seeing the night view.
That's gardens by the bay , by the way.

The Undead Forest is located in the rainforest so when we were coming down from the flyer, we could actually see some of the "ghosts" and get ourselves mentally prepared.
Watched a dance performance before we enter the gates.
Did calm me down alittle, I'm a coward afterall.

Here are some characters you would expect to see !
Get greeted by the Guards of the gate to hell, but in this case, to the undead forest.
From the dark waters, the little girl will grab your hand.
The helpers are with the masks, no they are not ghosts.
Ask them for assistance if you need. The ghosts wouldn't help.

Are you ready for FrightFest 2012, The UNDEAD FOREST ?
The Frightfest begins on the second week of October, but remember the Undead Forest is only open on Fridays to Saturdays. Mark your dates now ! ( 12 – 14, 19 – 21 and 26 – 28 October 2012 )
Of course we always have early bird specials, get them before October !
FrightFest Value Pack includes the ticket to the Undead Forest and a flight on the Singapore flyer, costs $42/$45. Prices varies from peak and non peak period.
While if you only want the admission to the Undead Forest, an adult ticket would cost $22/$25, child ticket $15/$18 , for group purchase would be $18/20 for a ticket !
There isn't any Halloween event for me this year, kinda miss Halloween at Sentosa last year.
But I did Halloween Special nails !
I thought I had was cool nails until my friends commented that my nails look freaky and looked like decomposed Easter day eggs.

Erm , so okay lor.
Make it Halloween nails.
I kinda like it more than any of my shatter nails ( if you follow me on twitter you will know)
It makes me look more like a cool bitch .
Like more gothic look rather than my forever-stuck-in-sweet-loli look .
So what you need to do is to choose 3 of your favourite bright colored nail polish .
And prepare for manicure ! :D
Here's what I used for this set of nails !
1 . OPI ,nail base coat. ( i broke it while doing this , now my heart shatter like my nails)
2. OPI ,NL B94 Fiercely fiona
3. NATURE REPUBLIC, BL 505
4. THEFACESHOP , Purple glitter
5. OPI, NL E53Black Shatter
6. THEFACESHOP , Top coat
Really simple set of nails.

Step 1 : Apply Base cost.
Step 2 : Randomly apply the 3 bright colors on your nails.
Step 3 : Wait for it to dry , apply the shatter nail polish !
Step 4 : Apply Top Coat after it drys !
Tip for you .
I open my freezer, put my hand in and stay there for 30 second.
Reason : So that my nails can dry faster .
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

I've never been to a halloween party or event like this before . It was really an eye-opener for me!
So I decided to be a witch . I mean , Dressup like a witch. Like a very nice witch . Like I will turn those brainless MRT commuters into roaches You know ? Or shower nice kind hearted people with moolah Unfortunately , I dont think I look like a witch . ☆⌒(＞。≪)イタイ

We were late alr , So we shook hands with the skeleton to befriend with him . So that we will have a pleasant halloween . 八(＾□＾*) ﾀﾉﾑ!!

Met new friends , Gin & Himeko . Before going to the first ride .
Our first trail for the day is THE CURSED ISLAND Which is at the Merlion .
We were only allowed to take photos and videos at this ride . For media only .

We were given ropes to tie on so that we will stay alive

We walked.... To the spooktacular cemetery Initially I thought it was a thrill or something . But its just a place made for phototaking . The 4 of us + vanessa ! The PSI Level was still in a 'good' range .

The next trail is THE HAUNTED ASYLUM . Which is a haunted house again . Alot of siao people inside !

Before we headed in . The guide was telling us . " No photograhy... beating talents... or they will follow you home and shampoo for you when you are showering.. "
Obviously we laughed. Not bad what , Got people help you shampoo Can ask for massage also.

This thrill was okay only . I feel . Maybe because I was tired alr , & immuned alr ./ Kelly was the first one , & We were nearly lost. This thrill have the most funny moments . Not alot , 2 to share only.
1) the ghost uncle walked to me & ask me if i want ice kacang. He walked towards me & "ice kacang" infront of my face WITH A BOWL OF HARDEN RICEBALLS . I think . Totally like the FML moment I have a few weeks ago .
Kelly immediately laughed. While I laughed in embarrassment !
2) People infront of us was shocked by a man-in-black .
Guy : * shocked * Got ghost at corner ! MIM : I volunteer la!
Us : * burst into laughter*

Its also another haunted house kind of thing.
Hehe, Done with the 3 trail Walking to the sky tower for the 4th and last trail . We took pictures with this red cheongsam auntie . Waaa, I must tell you this . In order to take picture with her , We still need to queue up you know...

I actually bought some candy for halloween . and put inside this nekomimi bag , But I forgot to give it to the other bloggers , My bad . Heart-shaped candy Gin & Himeko .

Me + Himeko + Bibi applepie the ghost! With the victorian ang moh ghost. I think her outfit very nice , So I like her , & offer her a candy . But she reject me. The candy on the floor .

& this marked the end of the event !
Well , It was a very great experience ! But 3 haunted house at a go , Really makes us immune to it . So by the 2 one , which is the haunted asylum . We were not afraid anymore. Cause we know where's the scary points already . To me , Its more funny then spooky . Maybe due to the people I was with .
But stillllll. Its great to celebrate halloween in Singapore! Hopefully I'll still have a chance to attend next year's !
