After the conference , I couldn't decide on where I should go , so I tagged along with Adeline to meet Rubini & Herman.
By chance.
WE SAW SOMETHING COOL .
THIS BOAT THINGY MODEL AT VIVO CITY .
We thought it just something new and went to take a look at the booth .
Rubs on the simulator |
Based on the information I found on the official website.
The boat thingy is called MS TÛRANOR PlanetSolar, it's a multihull vessel topped by a large array of photovoltaic solar panel.
Constructed by Knierim Yacht Club, in Kiel, Germany.
Built in 14 months it is the biggest ever solar boat!
Apparently the website mention that it is both silent and clean , I assume that it does not do harm to the environment or something like that ?
Kids' drawing from all over the world. |
And..
we started thinking |
This is one of the demo games using solar power.
I had fun with this, so easy to play with . #cheapthrill
Masterpiece |
Still remembered the pictures of kids' drawing ?
Well , the booth managers told us the machine is currently travelling around the world and that it will be reaching Singapore at 5pm that evening so we thought.
WHY NOT WE JUST WAIT TO SEE IT IN REAL !
& WE DID !!!!!!!!!!
The solar boat had already been on the expedition for slightly more than a year and had travelled to places like HongKong, Philippines , Australia and many other places.
Bought snacks from Daiso to noms and waste time, and finally it arrived in SG !
excited and all going downstairs ! |
